Do you host events or weddings?
Yes! We love to host weddings, yoga retreats, corporate events, family reunions, etc. Our houses have a maximum capacity of 21 people for lodging and for events in our outdoor spaces we have a maximum of 150 people. Please see our Events page for more details.
Where will our wedding guests stay?
Guests who are not staying at the hacienda stay in hotels or private homes in Merida and organize sprinter vans or buses to bring them to the Hacienda for the big day. We can provide suggestions for off-site lodging and transportation companies.
What are your wedding packages?
We are a venue space only, meaning we simply provide the space. It is required to have a wedding planner to coordinate all of your details like catering, florals, lighting, furniture rental, etc. We can provide you with suggestions of local seasoned wedding planners for you to create your wedding day vision.
What are some unique wedding ideas?
Every wedding at Hacienda Sac Chich amazes guests with unique Yucatan inspired ideas. There have been donkeys, fresh coconuts, mezcal-spiked paletas, late-night marquesita carts, mariachi bands and fireworks. Your imagination is your only limit and your wedding planner will have access to the best resources.
Can I have friends come and hang out at the Hacienda?
Yes, you can although having guests beyond those lodging at the property is considered an event and an additional fee would be required. This fee varies depending on the scope of your event and needs to be arranged ahead of time and is often managed by your planner.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have a large parking lot for your guests. If you anticipate many guests driving we do ask for you to provide a valet to coordinate.
Do you provide bathrooms?
We have two modern bathrooms, a men’s and a ladies, each with two stalls. The night of your event we provide staff to maintain them and stock the paper products as needed.
